Old Town Sarajevo: Authentic Bosnian Cuisine in Phoenix

I have left a nice review about 9-10 years ago, and it’s not here anymore, so I’m leaving a fresh review based on my experience. Was greeted and seated right away, with a choice of table or booth seating. Prices are very reasonable! Was able to order right away as I already knew what I wanted for dinner. Amazing food and great service!! Don’t forget to try their Turkish coffee if you like coffee. Soups, grilled meats, salads, and lots of dessert choices!!! A great variety of drinks too! I’m so stoked!! Will be back soon!!

I was so excited when I had the chance to eat here for their halal Bosnian food! Food and service was 10/10....I was too pleased. I got the cevape (with 5 pieces of meat) which the bread was fresh, homemade and very soft...and the stuffed cabbage rolls and wow the meat was so flavorful and soft...I enjoyed every bite! Definitely give them a try!

Fantastic restaurant! Delicious, authentic food with great service. The waiter was so kind, especially since we had fussy kids with us. The meats were tender and flavorful, and we especially loved the sarma and cevape. It felt like I was in Eastern Europe. Very reasonable cost for the quantity and quality of food, too.

First time visiting Phoenix and this was my favorite restaurant. Everything we had was great. Service was wonderful.

Amazing little place, with authentic Bosnian decor. The food and drink options are exactly what you would find if you visited Sarajevo. Could not recommend it enough.

Delicious and Authentic Bosnian food. The burek is delicious, the Bosnian lonac soup is 10/10, cevape is perfect! The people are super friendly and nice, I asked for a lemon and mentioned to the waiter that I love grapefruit so he brought me a whole bag for free! You don’t see this kind of hospitality anymore! I highly recommend coming here 10/10!!

This place is amazing with great food and phenomenal service. Our first time trying Bosnian/ Sarajevo food and it was delicious. The recipe is simple and the food look also simple until you try it and you and taste the complexity of its flavors. You can tell there was a lot of care preparing this food items. We had a great time looking at their decorations, listening to their music and living the moment. Absolutely a great experience and will recommend to friends and family. Come and see this location. You will leave completely satisfied and with a smile in your face.

Very cozy place! The owner was very nice. He was enthusiastic to teach me about Bosnian culture and how their dishes are eaten. The coffee is very soothing, I was intrigued that Bosnian didn't use a filter when drinking their coffee. I was nervous at first, but the owner was kind enough to show me. The food here is spectacular. I forgot what I ordered, but I believe I ordered the cevape. The portion was very good for the price, and it was served to the perfect warmth. I totally recommend this place!
